The third Generation in the Pokemon series, Pokemon Sapphire, allows you to catch and train 386 Pokemon, 135 of which are brand new to the franchise. You can again play as a male or female trainer, and can link battle against anyone else with a copy of Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire,FireRed, LeafGreen or Emerald. This game is nearly identical to it's sister title, Pokemon Ruby, apart from a few differences such as encounters of certain Pokemon and the different rivals. The game opens up a new region to players called Hoenn. Bringing in and adding to the series new towns, locations, and new characters into the series.
Its a whole new world for Pokemon with even bigger adventures. The game allows you to link between the other game cartridges created for GBA. Trainers are allowed to battle and trade against each other, on their journey to "Catch em' all" and become the Pokemon Champion. There have been many playful, new Pokemon introduced, and many classic old ones that are available for encounter and capture after a player has beaten the Pokemon League.
